Very basic room close to the airport. Busy with lots of tour group stays. Restaurant with very limited selection. Airport shuttle was not working and they actually charge more than a taxi.

This is a charming old palace with lots of personality and the staff all were excellent. It was a welcome overnight refuge from Pisa after our plane was cancelled. Keep in mind it’s primarily a spa hotel with its own rhythms. And the food was delicious if a bit pricey. Also try the gelato shop across the street for the best gelato.
