Staff were genuinely nice all around, the room was a good size and clean, although a little dated. Food was generally good, although not lots of options, but taste wise was nice. Restaurants were also clean and well presented. Drinks options were limited and didn’t include premium brands. Swimming pool area could do with a little improvements. The chap who did the children’s entertainment was good value and very warm to everyone. I wouldn’t say this was anywhere near the best 5 star hotel I have visited before and would probably say a 4 star, but all around me and my children had a good time there.

Buffet breakfast was excellent, serving everything you would want. We didn’t have half board and used the Primadonna Italian restaurant and Cocos Portuguese restaurant over the 5 nights we stayed. Both were excellent. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. After midday, the young lads from the bar were very friendly and helpful serving the poolside. Beach was 200m 5 minutes to walk along the wooden boardwalk.
