"Really, really nice staff - makes all the difference when the staff appear to like where they're working. I felt that the staff took a pride in their job and this in turn was passed on to us,the guests. If I get an opportunity to come to Manchester again, this will be my first choice. "

"Beautiful upmarket hotel steeped in history. Attractive decor, welcoming staff. Our king size deluxe roomand bathroom were lovely and spacious but unfortunately the view out the windows was of a small inner roof and other inward looking toom windows. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Busy lifts at check out time meant we had to wait at least 5 min for a space in one. The hotel was very convenient for the city centre and for the whole tram network."

"Stayed here for 2 nights and overall we had a lovely time. I paid £20 extra per night for a room upgrade but unfortunately the tea/coffee, biscuits were not replenished after 1 night and i phoned and asked politely if they could send us up extra for the next morning. Unfortunately nothing appeared!! Its the small things that make all the difference when staying at a hotel and felt for the money we were paying our experience could have been better. "

"Clean comfortable 18th floor room in a great location. Well equipped small kitchen area. Nice to have a fridge with a couple of bottles of water and milk. Room was quiet at night. The only thing I would change is to be able to open a window. The AC is good but fresh air would have been nice. Would recommend. "

"Late check in was very helpful and the location worked out well. The room was a good size, clean and quiet. Requested “breakfast in bed” which was ignored. Tables in restaurant weren’t setup properly, breakfast was average."

"I really liked this hotel. It has a very industrial feel to it with exposed piping and unpainted plaster wall. Don’t go here if you are looking for a Hilton type hotel but if you are looking for something a bit different I would recommend giving it a go. I would definitely book here again."

"They do provide or offer even water in the room , it looks like it was a service apartment and not a hotel . Also for Breakfast they do not have any vegetarian options and you just need to depend on breads and fruits The location of the hotel is good . "
