"We arrived late as we had a bad experience at another hotel. We wete greeted with a warm smile and friendly service from the receptionist. The bar staff were so lovely and even though we were just after yhe closing hour they made sure we were fed after our exhausting trip. "It is central to Chumley, pleasant staff, good ale. Cold at night, (limited heating and poor insulation) very noisy on a Saturday until the the late hours. (entertainment area right outside bedroom) Food was very poor. No staff available outside of opening hours. (Had to leave without finalising food bill as no staff available). Breakfast served in another establishment (short walk) "
