"Excellent property for family of 6 adults and two children. Could do with a safety gate to keep little ones safe on the stairs but excellent place to stay. A little noisy in first floor bedroom as the window catch was broken so the window did not shut properly but did not dampen our stay "

"Great location and comfortable, quirky room / apartment. Poor signage from the car park to the hotel, which could be worked upon but to be fair a nice place for the city. Very hot room but portable air con offered, which helped second night. "

"The Bears Paw is a lovely country pub with a splendid kitchen and very comfortable rooms... and a very warm welcome to dogs!! The rooms are very nicely decorated, generously sized and comfortable. The food is delicious and interesting. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. A great place to stay, we'll be back! "

"Great hotel, bar and restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff, and excellent service throughout our stay. Room was clean, well equipped, comfortable and modern. It would have been nice to have had the heating on when we arrived but appreciate that we’d recently had a change in weather. Bar has wide selection of drinks and food is excellent. Views are fantastic on a clear day and outdoor seating is available. Would (and have) happily recommend to friends and family"

"Loved the apartment. Really clean and lots of space. Pool area was clean and not busy. The breakfast set up needs looking at - having a buffet style would help with congestion and time to receive food. But can't fault the staff. All really friendly and helpful."

"This is an incredibly special and beautiful hotel to stay in Manchester, central and with big spacious rooms. The building is magical and the dining/breakfast/bar space is very beautiful. We were very well treated and felt at home here. The only issue I would point out is that the breakfast should be included in the price, as is the norm in Europe. "
