Perfect Beara Peninsula resting spot
Had a great one night stay. It was a perfect location for our Bear Peninsula adventure. Beautiful sea view from our room, clean updated room and a great breakfast.

Do stay, you will feel like family
I loved this place. Mary was an exceptional host, very attentive to our needs. Breakfasts amazing, for a Coeliac she has an amazing choice of cereal, plenty of fruit, yogurt and the cooked element wonderful. The rooms were spacious with views across to the ocean. Allihies is a great village to walk around and explore the coast.

Forever in my memory
Wow,this place was just fantastic!!I would have stayed a second night,had I been able to,but booked solid,no room in the inn. I had my best sleep in Ireland,in this bed,so comfortable,along with the sea breeze,and the care shown by Mary,and also her husband John.Such a lovely couple,total compassionate care.I had a tire blow out on me,but John just totally got on it,and arranged everything I needed.Thank you,for that!!I would stay here again,in a heartbeat.Would love to explore the area,and do some walks.The breakfast was also very good.Mary is lovely.

Lovely well-maintained older building in Allihies. Mary & John O’Sullivan are wonderful hosts. We had a double room en suite that was roomy and comfortable. Lots of choices for breakfast. They also own the grocery next door. Nice place to stay while traveling the Wild Atlantic Way.

Home away from home in paradise!
Mary and her staff/family were amazing! Super friendly staff, great home cooked, freshly made breakfast, super comfy room, bright, clean and with stunning rooms. The whole village is idyllic and located near beautiful and fun attractions. Highly recommend for couples and families and travelers that are looking for scenic walks and adventure.

Simple heaven at the western edge of Europe
You can read the reviews and research a place online but you never know what you’re truly getting until you’re onsite. Mary gave us a warm welcome during a nicely minimal checkin process, and led us to our upstairs room with the killer view. I loved how simply and tastefully decorated the room was set out as it didn't detract from the gorgeous outdoors. The two windows let in lots of light which added to my excitement about the rooms. And we discovered two cookies waiting in the room—I didn’t know I needed one until I saw it! We had an early-ish departure taxi arranged for the next morning, and without batting an eye Mary arranged to have the splendid breakfast laid out 15 minutes earlier than normal. I can’t wait to return.

Felt like home
My wife and I had an amazing experience at the Sea View Hotel this past June. The hotel was a perfect spot to rest and relax after a gorgeous drive along the coast. The town itself has a few pubs and beach access less than a 5 minute drive away. Try to stay on Sunday night and catch live Irish music in the pub! The staff was very nice and friendly.

The Best B+B Ever on the Wild Atlantic Way
The SeaVies B+B is a must for anyone looking for the Best of traditional Ireland and all the conveniences and comforts of contemporary Ireland. Mary, our B+B hostess, not only provided us with tasty Irish Breakfasts but also shared tour tips for each of our day trips that added considerably to our enjoyment of the Beara Peninsula. With an excellent Pub and Grocery store nearby, our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay and extra day at the SeaView, enjoy more of Mary's sparkling personality, and take in more of the sights and sounds of this wonderfully unspoiled peninsula, the most southwesterly point in Ireland, where nature and human development coexist in inspired harmony.

Lovely basic b&b near the end of the Bera peninsula. Very clean, and had an actual sea view from the room, which was lovely. Were greeted by a somewhat surly young man when we arrived, but think he was filling in for the owner while she was away. She was there the next morning for breakfast, and very helpful. Definitely somewhere we'd love to go back to!

2 days at the Seaview, Allihies
We enjoyed a very pleasant time here; the proprietor was charming and very helpful and provided good information about the area. Our room was excellent, breakfast was plentiful and I would have no hesitation staying here again. Far better than a good few hotels we have stayed at.

A good B&B in a quiet village. Unfortunately we did not have one of the eponymous Sea View rooms; ours was small and looked out onto the corrugated metal wall behind, but the room was en suite and clean. And for such reasonable rates, there's really nothing to moan about!

B&B Seaview
Fantastiskt litet B&B nära havet. Storslagen natur men lite svårtillgängligt att ta sig hit längs många krokiga vägar. Väl på plats var värdinnan väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående. Rummen var små men välstädade och frukosten väldigt god. Rekommenderas!

Das Seaview war eine Zwischenstation auf einer Irland-Rundreise. Mitten am Ring of Beara gelegen, ermöglichte es uns ruhige Zeiten in wunderschöner Landschaft. Das Hotel liegt mitten im kleinen Ortskern, die einzige Gaststätte für ein Abendessen liegt wenige Häuser weiter. Dennoch war zumindest nachts und früh am Morgen kaum Verkehr vor dem Haus, so dass wir ruhig schlafen konnten. Der im Namen angedeutete Seeblick war schön, um zum Strand zu gelangen, hat man einen kleinen Spaziergang. Angesichts des günstigen Preises waren wir vom großen Zimmer sehr angenehm überrascht. Die Ausstattung war völlig in Ordnung. Auch Gelegenheit zum Kochen eines Kaffees war vorhanden. Das Frühstück im Hotel war schmackhaft, wie oft in Irland standen kontinentales Buffet und warmes irisches Frühstück zur Auswahl.

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, trotzdem würde uns ein leckeres und umfangreiches Frühstück serviert.Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich als käme man nach Hause. Besitzer sind auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Direkt nebenan ist eine Tankstelle und ein Supermarkt. Man schaut von seinem Fenster direkt über ein paar Wiesen und Kühe auf das Meer.

Een B&B met erg vriendelijke mensen. Kamer goed, badkamer niet groot maar praktisch ingericht. Uitstekend ontbijt. Goed advies over eetgelegenheden in plaats. De prijs inclusief ontbijt is correct. Menig hotel kan hier niet aan tippen.
