"This hotel is incredibly convenient with easy access to the main parts of Amsterdam as well as the rail station if you are travelling to others places. The rooms were nice but after our second night our air conditioner was leaking and they relocated us to another room only for the air condition to be broken in that one too. Luckily the 3rd room was the charm but the staff were so helpful and nice about everything."

"My mom and I stayed at the Ruby for 3 nights, we absolutely loved it! Be ware this hotel does not have AC. However, they did offer us fans because our room was too warm for us. The halls and lobby area were perfectly cooled. The bar was great, offering seasonal cocktails and a nice bar staff. Charlie and Nina served us most often, and they were very kind. Checking in was easy. They held our bags while we waited for our room to be ready and, we explored the area. The market was about a 30 to 40 minute walk. Bolt was our preferred method of transportation and there are bikes for rent. The tram station is also very close to the hotel and there is a small store right around the corner."

10/10 Excellent
"Location a little out of the way of Amsterdam centrum, but easy to get to via tram/train in less than half an hour. Building exterior had an industrial gothic vibe and the interior decor is pretty chic and modern. Rooms were clean and spacious, with all the amenities as expected for a 4 star hotel. We were in the family room with the bunk bed, and our only comment is that the bunk bed is really only suitable for younger/shorter kids, as my eldest daughter kept bumping her head on it. Staff at check in and bar were friendly, can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t have it there. Overall, thoroughly recommended"

"Surprised as to the size of the room, it was very small. The bathroom pod that was part of the tiny room was also awkward in that the door would not close all the way and water easily went onto the floor outside of the shower area.
