"We had an excellent stay at the Mauldron Hotel, it was located 3 minutes from the train station and a 18 minute walk to Leezes Park where we were heading. We were able to check in 1 hour early which was fantastic. The room was huge and nipping clean. Very comfortable bed and was very quiet. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Everything from cereal, yoghurt, porridge, meats, cheese, bread, hot food, bacon sausage etc. I would highly recommend staying here, we certainly will stay again!"

8/10 Good
"When we arrived the bathroom area had lots of random dark long hairs on the floor area, in the shower tray and even on the shower hose. All the staff were very polite and helpful especially reception, breakfast staff and evening bar staff. The breakfast was also very good. The room was a bit dark but only had one narrow window so had little natural light. When I opened the curtains in the morning the pole came down. The hotel was a good central location the only thing that let it down was the cleanliness of the bathroom."
