"Lovely location, very peaceful. Near to many other great villages and only a short drive to Weymouth. The Old School is vast but very cosy."

"Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. Only slight issue was the noise from something the other side of the bedroom wall (some sort of low level generator/machine) but ear plugs helped at night. Possibly only an issue for light sleepers guests who are noise sensitive. Staff were very dog friendly but there is nowhere to walk the dog off-road and no poop bag bins. We didn't eat at the hotel but if the brownies are anything to go by I imagine it is lovely. Nice place to stay. "

"Stayed here for a weekend with family, the accommodation was absolutely wonderful! It was really clean and great furnishings giving it a homely feel! There was things to do for all age groups and an added bonus of having a Swimming Pool/Spa facilities on site within walking distance. Would definitely recommend! "

"Excellent amenities. Enjoyed our short break with the grandchildren. Good downstairs bedroom and shower room for the grandparents! Inclement weather so we didn’t get to go on bike rides etc., but good swimming pool and boys loved playing with their boats on little lake beside house.Many thanks."

"Lovely cottage, i chose to self cater and the cottage had everything i required. A little further from my work but worth it. Not sure if you're aware, bathroom cold tap as a slight leak. Thank you for a comfortable few nights "

"Interior walls were very thin and had layer of mould growing on the inside, including on bedroom walls, that had clearly been painted over many times in different areas of the cabin but had not been dealt with properly. Cabin smelled of bleach, I assume due to attempted cleaning. Cancelled immediately upon entering and requested a refund."

"Two hutches in a bit of forest. Mixed up on arrival ended up in the wrong one as ours was taken by someone else the day before. No hot water on the first night, luckily fixed around midday next day. Overall everything you need for a short stay. Relatively close to the coast. We had a nice stay with a few bumps."

"The property was fantastic - had everything you need with a lovely tranquil setting and amazing views! The communication with the owner was good too - very helpful and attentive, and like how they helped with the hot tub!The site is also great with activities to do and brilliant facilities - the pool is brilliant, I just wish we’d had better weather! The staff are all so very friendly and service is excellent! Great holiday!"
