This historic hotel has loads of character and is a marvellous central location. I would suggest that it needs some decorative TLC but my room was large and with 2 huge floor to ceiling windows that looked out onto the main street. Room and ensuite were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. ...

Amazing location in the border areas of Scotland, lovely home, fully equipped with everything you would ever need, and more. Extremely roomy, good wifi, a welcome cake and Shortbread, the grounds are really nice, even has a table and chairs to sit under the trees in, only 10 minutes drive from Berwick, ...

Friendly locals. Great shops and stunning vistas.
Some great little restaurants on Bridge Street, including the Curfew micropub.
Nice town to wander about. I enjoyed the Barracks and castle walls.
