"Room lovely, clean and comfortable. Could have had the heating on higher though considering the weather. Staff great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast nice, you could tell the ingredients were quality."

"Hotel facilities are excellent, staff friendly and attentive, food very good. To be super critical we stayed in room 113 and spent large amounts of time listening to the floor boards creak from the room above. Ceiling down lighter with holes needed to be filled in and put next to the water fridge in the grill on our evening meal meaning we were constantly disturbed. These are minor as the hotel is great. "

"The location was great for seeing the castle and the old town. The decor is tired and could use a little attention. The breakfast was okay. They could use an additional coffee machine as the wait for a cup of coffee was quite long."

"The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is good. The wi fi was a little slow on my last day but otherwise very good. The disabled access bathroom was excellent in my room. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back."

"Parking was easy, room spacious with large bathroom but no shower mat and the pressure of water from the shower head rendered it completely useless for showering. Some fixtures in bathroom handing off and staining on the carpet made it look tatty. Easy to find and only a minute from the motorway junction, so very handy in that respect."
