"Had.a lovely stay Audrey and Mark were lovely so welcoming. Our room was lovely and clean nice comfy bed. We had our little dog Maudie with us there was treats for her at breakfast. The only regret was we didn’t have dinner there we went to Callander and the road was so dark next time we will have dinner there"

"Very old building so lots of quirky features like different shaped wooden skirting boards, the bath in our room in need of refurbishment but clean & both sink & toilet looked new, our room was lovely & cosy (a bit too hot at times but preferable to it being cold) Paul the chef & manager friendly & welcoming. "Everything you need in one location. Nice room to stay, bar w/ local musician and made to order breakfast. "

"Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Our room was lovely with a great view of the river and the mountains. We had dinner at the property. Tasted good. Nice that they packed us a lunch instead of taking our breakfast that was included because we were leaving early. That was an unexpected nice touch."

"Stopped overnight in this nice little Hotel on the way to Mull from the Midlands. The staff were friendly and professional and the hotel cleanliness was excellent. The food was first class. We had and evening meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was excellent. If we had to find a small gripe it would be with the bathroom in room 112. The floor tiles had had their grout worn away leaving rough edges and there was a raised screw on the threshold between the bathroom and the bedroom. The shower...

"Came here with my family to celebrate my 60th birthday. Communication with the owner was excellent and check in accommodated us arriving early.There was everything and more on offer. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for.the selection of games kept everyone entertained. And the gift of chocolates and wine gave that extra special.touch...would definitely recommend and return."
