"The building & room & staff are really special! I grumble because our shower / bath and the breakfast quality was not great. Also not a fault of the hotel specifically but the location proved really challenging with mosquitos - I was bitten badly at the hotel - so a general warning! But the place was lovely!"

"Definitely not a 4 star hotel. I would rate it closer to 2.5 stars. The rooms were very hot and took forever to cool down. The hallways and carpets were old, and the entire property definitely needs some updating. Overall, it was okay for a one night stay, but I wouldn’t say it meets 4 star standards."
