"Stayed here w family last summer. So good we returned this summer w friends. Excellent balance of common space and privacy. Easy walk to Whiteabbey village. House has all you need and oozes with charm and comfort. "
"We had a great few days at the Dobbins Inn. Breakfast had all the usual options and was perfect. We had dinner 2 of the nights and it was some of the best food we had on our trip. The rooms are dated but it's an old place and expected. The bed was comfortable, and the windows opened enough to control the temperature. Wi-Fi was available throughout the building. The car park is less than a 5-minute walk to the hotel."
"The property was clean, enough riom for all to sleep. Easy to park and close to a nice convenient store. Good location to explore Northern Iteland. Took the train from Whitehead into Belfast Easy. Convenient. Any questions I had were quickly answered "
Edwardian Beach Villa in Whitehead, Beach Front Period Edwardian Villa
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely beautiful property! From the amazing Edwardian home (tall tall ceilings, lovely windows looking out over the water, wainscoting, gracious doors, renovated kitchen and bathrooms) to the stunning location: all A plus! Did I mention the fresh baked loaf of bread, butter, jam, milk and eggs all waiting for us? So thoughtful! Only issue was we couldn’t figure out the combo/lock system as our phones hadn’t switched to the UK eSIM so we missed that info email. But! We pressed the doorbell (probably way too many times lol) and the owner spoke to us via the bell, walked down to show us in and around the house! Loved our stay, would def book again!"
"Felt like home. Very welcoming and included all the amenities we would need. Exceptionally clean and well decorated! Comfortable beds and furnishings. Close to public transportation and downtown Holywood. "

There are no prizes for guessing which is more popular with young children.
Thought to be some 800 years old, St. Nicholas’ Church stands in the centre of town, a place of tranquillity amid the bustling streets of Carrickfergus. The accepted story behind the church is that it was built in the late 12th Century by John de Courcy, the Anglo-Norman knight who had a reputation for establishing churches and abbeys during his rule.
