"Great staff, Maggie who checked us in and sorted out rooms with the booking agent after I made an error in the original booking was fantastic, a real asset to the Hotel "
"The hotel is above the restaurant. Everything was. Lean and the bed was very large and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was very good and reasonable. No pool but the price was good"
"Historic and cozy inn. Room was what I expected in a centuries old building adding to the charm of the town. Good Irish breakfast. Would stay there again if in the area."
"Very good service, clean & comfortable hotel with a lovely Bistro Bar attached. I don’t visit Ards very often but would stay here again the next time I did"

"We had a great few days at the Dobbins Inn. Breakfast had all the usual options and was perfect. We had dinner 2 of the nights and it was some of the best food we had on our trip. The rooms are dated but it's an old place and expected. The bed was comfortable, and the windows opened enough to control the temperature. Wi-Fi was available throughout the building. The car park is less than a 5-minute walk to the hotel."
"Incredible hospitality! We were staying for a friends wedding at the venue and the team could not do enough for you. We arrived early morning and asked if we could leave our cases whilst we headed into Bangor - within seconds the receptionist and housekeeping manager were scouting out which rooms were readily available - we were given an upgraded room and able to check in immediately.
On our first morning of breakfast, my partner asked the waiting staff if it would be possible to get some avocado with his haddock & eggs, he was told unfortunately it's not something they have in stock as it isn't in any of their menu items. Lo and behold, the next morning we sit down for breakfast and the waiter has been and purchased an avocado just for my partner!
Our only downside to the hotel was the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom which made for an uncomfortable sleep during a heatwave. Other than this, the hotel was PERFECT and I would recommend to absolutely everybody."
"A perfect location to be away from a busy touristy area, fresh clean air, was able to attend a church service. The location is not too far from where the Dublin Express pick-up point. "
"Felt like home. Very welcoming and included all the amenities we would need. Exceptionally clean and well decorated! Comfortable beds and furnishings. Close to public transportation and downtown Holywood. "
