It seems like a "family friendly" place, and until late, children were noisily running up and down the hall. The room was clean, but basic. Wilkieston Burn. This small burn flows from Wilkieston Farm about 2kms from here and drains into the Ceres Burn about 500mts behind me. It's not got a large catchment area but has no boggy ground or forestry to soak up any rain fall and with farmland on either side it can rise very quickly in a deluge.
