"The staff was great.. the hotel has seen better days, it’s old and seems worn but for a one day stop before heading to Shannon airport it was in a great place. Restaurants and JJ Bowles pub and castle were walkable"

"Hot and Cold Hotel The heat of our bedroom was intolerable. Bed covers to much, opened windows eventually at 4.30am which helped. The cold part comes from the bar in the evening before and after the evening meal. We had to go to the room after the meal as my wife started shivering in the bar. The restaurant also had the open doors but when requested to close them, they obliged. Table at door for kitchen not happy with lots of foot traffic annoying but food good"

"Good access to and from nearby Shannon airport (as well as other destinations) by bus stops adjacent to hotel. Overall very clean. Restaurant is overrated “Award Winning” and menu/food just average. Breakfast offered with extra room fee was fine, nothing outstanding, but more than enough to satisfy. Good beds, linens & pillows. MAINTENACE checks for rooms should be more thorough- we had dresser drawer knobs loose and window hardware not secure. Shower leaked on to bathroom floor. Mini “fridge”, we were told, was just to be for cooling, but even after requesting a check, it was never even cool. Friendly staff. Room was comfortable & quiet. The location (for our purposes) was the main reason we stayed and it proved to be a good choice for affordable and comfortable travel."

"Nice hotel with good spacious rooms and great gym/swimming pool. However, the noise from 6.30 in the morning was unbearable. Lifting and throwing of crates, rolling of beer kegs etc right outside my window. Could this not be done later?"

"Enjoyed our stay at The Savoy Limerick - beautiful room and hotel, a great location for walking the river and sightseeing. Staff were prompt and pleasant sorting wifi issues."

"The rooms looked nothing like pictured on the website. The staff didn’t help except provide an extra fan when the room was too hot. Apparently they were “fully booked” and couldn’t relocate us. The parking lot wasn’t full.. The window was open upon arrival which also had an active bird nest outside of It. With the window open bugs were all over the room. The remote didn’t have a back and couldn’t change channels. Honestly after a long day this was just awful to come to . The Manager tried calling me but was on a tour, I tried calling back but never heard back. Would not recommend this hotel. And avoid the one elevator and walk the extra few hundred feet to the rooms. It felt unsafe.."
