"There are many excellent things about Mollie’s Bristol: • It’s economical and good value • The reception area is a very welcoming and social space, including a bar and free tea and coffee, desks and comfortable seating • Opening off the reception area, there is a lovely garden courtyard, with tables and chairs and a play area for young people. • The staff are wonderful – always friendly and helpful • The rooms are attractive and the bed and pillows are very comfortable • There are units dispensing free hot and cold water on each floor • The Diner is well designed, with a good, varied menu – and clearly very popular with residents and visitors alike. There’s a couple of shortcomings: • Bizarrely for a relatively new, purpose designed building, there is no guest lift to the first and second floors. So, if you have heavy luggage, make sure to ask for a room on the ground floor • In our bedroom: apart from four hangers, there is nowhere to put cases and content – no desk, no shelves, no cupboards, nowhere to open cases and put clothes, except on the floor. Oddly, in our room, there was plenty of space for a shelving and storage, such as you get in many hotels, even at the budget end, but the floor and wall space was unused. Despite these shortcomings, we would be happy to stay at one of the Mollie's Motel & Diners in UK again."

"The main pro of this hotel is its location. Less than a 2 min walk to the water front, theatre, bars and restaurants. The location is fantastic. The hotel is clean, tidy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a car park, £20 for 24hrs which for Bristol, is good value. PARKING NEEDS TO BE BOOKED WITH THE HOTEL IN ADVANCE - THERE ARE ONLY LIMITED SPACES. Dont try to message them through this app - I tried it and didn’t get a response. Just call the hotel direct. The room is clean and adequate - the other everything you need, but it was fairly empty and basic. It didn’t have the ‘wow’ factor you’d expect from the location, building and reception area. Not really an issue for me, but worth noting. Brekfast was good - the only thing I will comment on is that I asked once of the staff about the ingredients in the sausage (gluten allergy). She said it was gluten free, but then another member of staff overheard and said it wasn’t….. they confirmed in the kitchen that they were gluten free (which was great), but as someone with a food allergy, it doesn’t fill me with confidence when two members of staff say something different. Obviously this won’t be an issue to most people, but one thing from having an allergy is that you need to be confident in what you’re being told - because it could spoil a trip away. Just a small point that I think management could raise with staff - make them aware of ingredients so they can inform customers confidently and correctl"

"Room was perfect for our trip, front desk were helpful dropping bags prior to check in and checking in. Only downside was 2 mugs & teabags for a room for 4. Breakfast was great, no other concerns and would recommend and stay again."

"Love the understated luxury of The Bristol. Great location with a nice lobby bar and Ricks is a vibe. A bit more investment in to the maintenance programme needed. The hotel is starting g to show its age in the little details. Some rooms in desperate need"

"Great hotel in Bristol Airport. Stayed there the night before to take advantage of twilight check in. Queues the following morning at EasyJet bag drop off were out of the door so we felt really smug. Decent food and drinks menu. Decent complimentary breakfast too."
