"Everything about our stay was fantastic! From the amenities to the service it was top notch. Our only complaint was the food. It was clearly made for the masses and at times was inedible."

"Comfortable beds and pillows, good choices for meals and snacks , clean resort and friendly staff. Entertainmental had good and ok . Drinks were cold and fresh. Mini fridge was stocked everyday. Fresh fruit at every restaurant was really good . Made to order omlettes in the morning was excellent, only dislike was removing needed lounge chairs by the pool on certain days . The lounge chairs are always full as it is and removing rows makes it worse. The coconut ice cream at cravings was some of the best tasting coconut ice cream have ever had. Rooms are quiet for the most part but the halls echo those few loud annoying guests who don't understand or don't care if they disturb anyone. I would stay here again"

"From the moment we checked in, we had to wait almost 2 1/2 hours before we couldn’t even get up to the front desk. They were taking other people before us that already had rooms, the resort did not live up to the standards that they advertise online my boyfriend stepped on multiple rocks that they didn’t sniff on the beach, cut his foot on a tile from the shower and the outside shower was broken with open wires freely visible. We were also scammed before we even got there by a fake Expedia customer service and took money off of my card. And the hotel staff failed to decorate the room for my anniversary when I tried to plan it a month in advance. The water in the shower smelled like sewage and gave me a horrific rash on my body. We felt very unsafe, even brush our teeth and had to use water bottles instead. The air conditioning wasn’t working in the hotel in the room. We’re not clean and so late in the day overall, the hotel did not live up to the standards that they advertise online. We were very disappointed and the hotel staff didn’t take responsibility and tries to point blame. Meanwhile, we witness several parties of people complaining about the same things that we were complaining about publicly."

"Pros: Very clean resort, large clean rooms, the grounds/landscaping was immaculate, cheaper resort, gym was good size and clean. Cons: 1) They tout four (4) restaurants at this resort. NO. There is a sports bar that opens at 3p.m. serving bar food. There is a buffet. The actual 2 restaurants require reservations. The Sisal is one of them, fairly easy to get in but not attached to the property. The "bistro" which is their steak house, you can't get in before 9p.m. unless you are a "member" (members get to make reservations 3 days in advance, guests have to make them the day of. 2) The Concierge pushes heaving on the "90" minute time share presentation, annoying. 3) Anything nice (decent liquor, steaks, most seafood, even guacamole) has an "upcharge" even with the all-inclusive package (example, Smirnoff is their top shelf vodka). 4) Asked for a 1-hour late check out (noon), denied. 5) You still have to use your room key every time to get cocktails, food, etc. and sign off like a cruise ship. 6) The only "bar" in the place is the sports bar, no lobby bar, no separate place just to relax and order a drink. It's either the pool bar during the day or the sports bar. 7) No club level for guests. 8) Guests cannot purchase an upgraded alcohol and/or dinner package. Everything has its own upcharge."
