"Basic accommodation with some nice homely touches. Unfortunately, biggest issue for us were the external stairs up to the front door and also internal stairs to bedrooms. My 76yo mother uses a walking stick and I was temporarily on crutches too so we both struggled. Getting up the narrow outside steps in the dark with no lighting was quite precarious. Listing really should highlight the property is not accessible for those with mobility issues. Bedrooms did not have proper curtains so we were...

"We had a last minute change of plans and I needed to find suitable accommodation for my family of 4. I came across the 'Garden House' in my initial search and compared 5 other similar solutions. None measured up and that was only based on the images. The pictures undersold the property, utterly. The Garden House became a serendipitous highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. "Cute warm and cosy with a working fireplace! Lovely walks in the area and driving distance to historical sites. The place was quite clean for a pet friendly stay but there were was a few pee stains from previous doggos."
