"We really enjoyed our two night stay at Melville Castle.The castle is beautiful and well located for trips into Edinburgh,set in lovely countryside.It is very dog friendly,with a dog friendly area in both the restaurant and breakfast room.We stayed in the two bedroom suite which was perfect for a family stay with lots of space and very comfortable beds as well as being beautifully decorated.An extra bathroom or separate toilet would have made it even better.We would recommend highly!"

"The Craigie is excellent hotel with lovely rooms. Our dinner there was excellent. Our breakfast was also very good. The staff were helpful & friendly. My only negative comment is that the carpet in the dining area & on the stairs needs replacing; it is worn & stained. "

"Have stayed here many times A good location for walking and quite Needs to be refreshed, parts of the hotel are currently being redecorated but furnishings in the bedroom starting to show their age! Spa and pool facilities good and staff there very accommodating and friendly "
