Unfortunately access from car park to hotel is poor, and very difficult to carry cases and bags up the stairs as there is no lift."

"Great hotel in the very middle of Bath. Our room was lovely & spacious & very clean. We especially loved using the spa first thing in the morning…very relaxing. "
"Beautiful hotel in a great location. The desk staff and the doormen were all fabulous. The lift wasn’t working but we were okay taking the stairs. I wouldn’t recommend breakfast as there are cheaper and better options nearby. The breakfast staff seemed very disorganized when we were there. Just a heads up that there is a discretionary gratuity mentioned at checkout. I wish I had known in advance as it caught me off guard. "
"It’s right in the centre of town so it’s very easy to walk to everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful and stored our bags for us before checking in and after we checked out. "

Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour.
We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins.
We used the spa facilities, and these are always great.
The room was comfy and just as we would expect.
It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again.

"Design, furnishings, and artwork throughout complemented the historic nature of this beautiful and eclectic hotel in the heart of Bath’s limestone covered City Centre. All major sites / landmarks / museums / restaurants / shops were within a 30 minute walk with the train station within a five minute walk. Staff were helpful, thoughtful and eager to make sure we had all that we needed for what turned out to be a great visit to Bath!"
