"The resort itself is very nice, clean, and well kept…HOWEVER, the food was horrible. Like so bad I completely skipped meals sometimes. The main buffet is full of beans, like 30 different cuts of sausages, rice and boiled potatoes, the buffet by the beach disappointed far worse as it served the same terrible foods for breakfast and lunch. Sausages and beans. The drinks were also awful, no matter what I order I end up with something random in a cup handed to me. No joke when I order a tequila sunrise and get a purple drink it leaves me questioning what I’m even drinking, and this happened with numerous drinks/day. Third…this is a college spring break HOT SPOT which I was not aware of. Meaning the place was invaded with obnoxious frat guys and annoying sorority girls who all travel in herds anywhere alcohol is being served, want to go to the pool bar? Forget it, at least 100+ frat/sorority children there and standing at the bar instead of having the common sense to order your drink and take it elsewhere so other people can order too. The lobby bar after 6pm when the pool bar opens? GOOD LUCK, the entire lobby bar/lounge gets completely over run and looks like a college town dive/frat bar. Once again, they all stand there at the bar for hours 3/4 rows of people deep and there’s only about 2/3 bartenders for each bar so good luck ordering when the herd of people with an IQ of 40 are ordering drink after drink after drink. "

"Been many times to this resort and quality has decreased a lot. Roaches in room every night. Not enough beach and pool chairs. Waiters were not courteous. Restaurants and buffet are just ok (food used to be so great). Sorry Lopesan. Hope it gets better when the expansion opens. "

"**Great Solo Getaway – Friendly Staff & Perfect Beach Location** I took a last-minute solo trip and stayed at Caribe Deluxe Princess. I’ve been to many resorts in the Dominican Republic, and I would rate this one around a 3.5–4 star resort overall. Check-in was smooth and easy. Milagros at the concierge desk was very friendly and accommodating, which made a great first impression. My beachfront room was exactly what I was hoping for. The pools, beach, and restaurants were literally just steps from my door, which made everything very convenient. The room itself was nice, although it could use a little maintenance. At times there was a slight sewage smell coming from the bathroom/shower area. The door key system is built into the bracelet, which is convenient, but I do wish there was an additional security lock inside the room. The mini fridge was fully stocked, which I appreciated. The resort grounds were clean and well maintained. I only used one of the three pools, which seemed to be the quietest and perfect for a relaxing solo trip. It was also located near the beach bar grill, which was very convenient.  Also a slight sewage smell in certain areas The buffet had some good options, and I also dined at Pilon and the Asian restaurant during my stay. Service around the resort was great. Starlin at the pool/beach bar was very attentive, and Wascar the bartender was also excellent. One of the highlights of my trip was a deep tissue massage on the beach with Blendy. She was"
