"Upon arrival the young lady that helped us was good. Persons going should speak Spanish. The resort lovely however the staff need to speak English a little better. To accommodate everyone. Myself and husband was sick the moment we walked in the room. There was a strong odour of mildew or mold. The nights were long we coughed every night. When we were out and about it was ok. The moment we went to bed. Coughing up heavy mucus! Now because of the language barrier we could not readily explain what we were feeling. I took pics of what I saw. When I got back home from my vacation my daughter said “why do you guys smell like mold. I didn’t tell her about it, but she could smell it. All my clothes needs to be washed. I also had a do not disturb sign on my door, how is it that twice the door was barely knocked and we were walked in on. The bed is located directly in front of the door. Just imagine what embarrassing scene that could be! No extra safety bolt. Beautiful place, beautiful beach, the hustlers on the beach disgusting no peace. Also the guys driving on the go-cart, they are time share sellers, annoying and they lie to get you to go to a presentation. BE AWARE! We went on an excursion to the countryside the local culture to see how coffee/cocoa is grown and made. I truly enjoyed that. The tour guide angel and Felix the driver from “Bavaro Runners Safari”was great!😊 overall experience just ok."

"Beautiful resort! Food was horrible. My husband and I got sick. I would ask for just hot water and they gave me brown hot water a couple of times. Buffet style food was limited in options and flies were all on the food. Not many options for food especially if you have dietary restrictions. Pool and beach was nice. Bring your own washcloth as they don’t really provide those. But I don’t recommend"

She was really attentive, helpful and made not only our trip but our friends trip an amazing experience. She went above and beyond about special decorations and activity planning. "Room's were cleaned regularly. Most of the staff were nice and friendly except a few. Weilson at the reception was super nice and friendly. Food could be a little better. Drinks were endless but felt like alcohol was diluted a lot. So always had to ask for extra alcohol and then still wouln'd get the buzz. Once I knew the trick, I would always ask to customize my drinks. Snacks by the beach were adequate but pizza quality wasn't good at all. I had much better pizzas and snacks at a different resort in the past. VIP area snack and drink bar can improve a bit. VIP area had no issues with drinks but lack the snacks and most of the time ran out of foods and coconuts but for a relaxing private area with less crowd VIP area was amazing to relax and enjoy the beauty.
