A nice family run place, just a bit out of the way location wise. Located on a bend in the road where motorbikes and cars speed up out of the bend at all times of the day and into the night. Matlock Baths nearby is a magnet at weekends for hundreds of motorbikes.
The Family Tree closes at 16:00 for bar and food service so you have to travel out for an evening meal. We caught a train into Matlock, Whatstandwell station 2 minute walk, but found most places in Matlock were closed on a May Bank...
