"We booked this hotel because of a wedding not far from the hotel. The room was clean, the staff was extremely welcoming and generally lovely! Overall great atmosphere. Some fixtures in the shower were a little bit dated and may need updating, but took nothing away from our lovely stay."

"Great hotel in convenient location. Upgrade from garden room to a room with king bed and coffee machine was ok, but they had run out of coffee pods anyway. The room was nice and characterful."

"We arrived late at night after leaving a hotel 15 minutes away that turned out to be dreadful. We felt so welcome here - the kindest, most welcoming people, and very cosy, spotless, pretty rooms, with welcome baskets of much-appreciated snacks. Very comfy, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. We will definitely stay again on our trips to visit family locally."
