We have now stayed at this hotel twice, after enjoying our first stay so much. The decor is fantastic, and both the rooms and common areas are spotless and well lit. The staff are extremely friendly, and helped us with everything throughout the stay. The location is a bit of a walk from the city centre, but there is also a tram stop a 2 minute walk from the hotel, which takes maybe 10-15 minutes to get into the centre.

The hotel is modern and up to date. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are buses just around the corner that go to the center, so we valet parked our car and left it there for our entire 3 days. Driving in the center is not easy!

Was part of a tour group with Insight Tours and the staff throughout the hotel was very accomodating. Razvan Grigoras, Bar and Restaurant manager, made sure all of our meals were top notch wiyh excellent service.

Very nice property close to the train station and getting around Dublin. The rooms are larger than many in Dublin. They let us check in early for some sleep as we arrived on an overnight flight :). That was the best! It was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Rooms were nice found the bathroom a little cold, access top rooms on side of hotel have narrow hallways and steep staircase. Very awkward when carrying suitcases. A little disappointing.

My husband and I were at the end of family trip that was very hectic. I was a bit unsure of staying on the south side of the city but it was the best thing we could have done. The staff was like no other. Every one of the was amazing and went out of their way to make our stay perfect.

The hotel was clean, our room was ready when we arrived. We were 3 people in the room, but they only had towels for 2. Every day we had to ask for the extra towels for one more person. It’s remote from the center, not many restaurants in the area. It is more of a business hotel. We took the tram to the center, pubs, restaurants.

Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Kind dig room/bed for two people - SINGLE small pillow each, one bottle of water between two people, no mini bar, hand wash and body wash the same product with no additional conditioner or body lotion. Clearly the Clayton don’t think much of providing things a 3-star hotel would provide.

The staff were very helpful! They were very accommodating and got our room ready early for us, as we were off a flight and wanted to nap. They also answered many questions for us with transportation and provided excellent service. The beds were comfortable and came with all the amenities you would expect. Would definitely reccomend!
