The property is very central and just a few minutes walk to shopping areas, St. Stephen's Green, Trinity and has great dining options nearby. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful except for one rude front office agent - which really ruins your first impression of a place, bit the other staff was very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Conveniently located near a tram stop. My only real complaint was the beds were very old and I felt every coil poking into me. The hotel either needs to replace them or at least put a cushioning mattress cover on.

We stayed here the weekend of Taylor Swift. We were so jet lagged coming off the flight, and though check in wasn't until later, the staff found us at breakfast and gave us keys so we could sleep. We were indebted. The restaurant is nice, hotel is a bit outdated and does not have air conditioning. We were able to walk and taxi everywhere we wanted to easily.

The Harcourt is in a beautiful historic building and the lobby and bar area are quite lovely. Our room was located in the building next-door, which was inconvenient for hauling our bags up and down stoop and interior steps. The room was in need of updating. The carpet was worn and the bathroom mirror was in poor condition. The water pressure was great in the tub/shower. We opened the window to our room (which was below street level) because it was stuffy. There is a nightclub down the street, so there were a lot of loud people walking by. We had a very early morning pick up and we asked if we could leave the key in the room and they told us we had to come to back to the front desk to drop off the key (inconvenient since we were in another building).

Our first night was a Sunday and the club downstairs was packed. Our room was on the front so you could hear the noise of this although we had no trouble sleeping. The second night there was no noise from the club , not sure if it was open on a Monday but we had a lovely night sleep albeit noisy neighbours banging drawers at 6am but that is no fault of the hotel. We were awoken on the Tuesday to a very load building site directly across the road. Again this is no fault of the hotel but something to be aware of. The hotel was very clean. The rooms small and basic but tasteful and clean. Very comfy bed and great shower. The breakfast was amazing and didn’t finish until 11 so didn’t need to get up too early. The variety was great and food piping hot. The hotel is a good 15-20 minute walk to the temple area but some brilliant pubs, bars and gardens to see on the way so we didn’t mind this too much. We loved our stay in beautiful Dublin and would definitely return to the Harcourt Hotel.

The room was clean, but small and very warm. Still totally fine for the stay. Great location, with many transport opportunities nearby. The staff was very friendly. All in all - a good place to stay, and not too expensive.

This is a great hotel for the younger crowd. It's very clean and rooms are spacious. However, there is a nite club under the hotel which is quite loud if you have a street facing room.

Bad experience
Nowhere to park to book in and no help with luggage. Ordered a double room and given a triple with double bed jammed against wall. We are very elderly and expected to crawl over each other to get in and out of bed. Doors slamming and children running past our door yelling until late at night. A thoroughly bad experience, the worst Hotel in six weeks of touring Ireland. This happened both nights we were there!!
