"Very convenient location to walk into town. But of a maze with the elevators, but a great hotel stay for sure"
Lodge at The Old Barracks

"Clean room, lots of stairs and no air conditioning if you are there in summer something to think about! Parking free and available behind the building. The convenience of the restaurants was the best part. We had breakfast included and it was amazing at the old barracks restaurant. There is also a great pizza restaurant below the rooms which is fairly fancy. Not open Mondays though. Would stay again."
Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone

"Nice rooms, bathrooms could use a little bit of an update. Very much appreciated the usb plugs so no need to use converters! Very nice breakfast too!"
Shearwater Hotel & Spa

"Nice hotel in good location. Good sized room and well maintained. Issue with shower not being hot enough - maintenance came twice but issue still not resolved to satisfaction. Staff were apologetic but still a bit annoying. Breakfast quite good but hotel seems to have a teaspoon shortage! Quite good bar meals at reasonable prices. Again, soup could have been hotter."

"Front desk very accommodating. Made dinner reservations & suggestions where to dine in the old part of town. Breakfast was nice."

"Very private, but location is remote, always long drive. House needs some little things, towels hooks in the bathroom. House was very clean, but we couldn’t use closets, they were full with wet linens. I understand they didn’t get dry but house has laundry room. I like everything else, big house, great for family"

"We loved our stay here! Michele was a great host and the home was very comfortable. The location was convenient to many sites and we hope to return some day!"
