"Very small room. Old building that needs a lot of money to upgrade it. The staff changed our room from 2nd floor to a ground floor room due to a disability- so they were very helpful. There was free parking, a bar, restaurant ( continental breakfast) and plenty of original building features. The beds were clean and we had plenty of fresh towels. Good facilities for the price. "

"This hotel was in a great location (a 10 - 15 minute walk along the beach to the Harbour Arm) and was a delight all round. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a real highlight. "

"Having seen other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised to see that whilst the main areas of the hotel look a little outdated and in need of renovation, our room was clean and we were given a sea-view room. However, the toilet did not flush at all and the shower did not work; we only discovered this as we were getting ready for check out. There also appeared to be a potential asbestos risk with the flaking textured coating on the ceiling of the wardrobe with cracks in the ceiling and dust and debris on the shelf."

"We had a lovely stay for one night, it is the perfect location, making it easy to walk everywhere. We had everything we needed. We had a sea view, but unfortunately, it was covered with scaffolding, which was disappointing! The breakfast was really nice, and you had plenty of choices to pick from. "
