However, the overall atmosphere felt dark and a bit outdated for my taste. My room was also quite cold, which made it less comfortable than I had hoped. The space felt gloomy, and I was looking for something brighter and more inviting. While others may enjoy the style, it just was not the right fit for me."

"Easy/quick check-in (although you have to pay extra for early checkin which really isn’t a new concept), extremely clean both common areas and rooms, daily room housekeeping which isn’t the norm nowadays, centrally located to a lot of things (the Eye, Big Ben, Westminster etc.). I would definitely stay here again and recommend to mt family and friends. "

"Excellent location near to theatreland - the hotel is in excellent condition. Every member of staff we spoke to was really helpful and efficient - top marks for the staff. The only downside, is that the rooms can be very small, so you need to be aware of this. ok for a night or two but less comfortable for a longer stay. In a room with no window, it took a little time to get the temperature and ventilation to the right level but it was fine once we were familiar with the system."

"Quiet, comfortable room, with very good amenities- coffee machine, snacks and plenty of toiletries as well as a recycling bin. We had a very friendly welcome and the location is excellent. The decor in all the public areas is lovely. Very good value for money too"
