"Purdy Lodge was ideal for us, room was great with view out to the fields. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, food was great as well. Would definitely stay again"

"Drab tired room. Shower broken, bathroom extractor not working, loo dangerously close to HOT radiator. Plants blocking bedroom window opening, virtually non existent tea/coffee facilities. Narrow twin beds with double size bed clothes?? Oh yes you can see the sea - the other side of the caravan holiday park. And whilst the food was fine, both the meal and especially the cost of the room were extortionate for poor standard provided. Best avoided."

"The hotel staff were friendly and a decent cooked breakfast (extra). The room was comfortable but wash hand basin in single room was tiny. Only 'on street' parking available."

"Excellent food, attended a wedding function and tbh the staff looked overrun. Although the day was in general was excellent. Rooms not available for all guests until 15.00. This meant if travelling to a function from distance, there was very limited changing facilities. Think it could be better if there was an area that people could get changed in. That apart would recommend the hotel, as found the bedroom and facilities excellent."

"Ample parking nice spacious room pleasant staff. Tasty and plentiful breakfast. Stayed for one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Highly recommended."
