"NEED A BETTER SECURITY SYSTEM... 2 MEN NOT STAYING AT THE HOTEL GOT IN AND RODE THE ELEVATOR AND WERE HIGH. IT WAS SCAREY SINCE I AM A FEMALE AND I WAS ALONE. AND THEY WERE NEAR THE POOL....."

"Room was clean and well appointed. Only disappointment was at check in, I was given a lesser quality room than booked/paid for. Which I only realized when I got to the room. When I went back to the desk to inquire about the mistake, I was told several guests extended their stay which made the booked suite unavailable. Clearly I was not going to be told ahead of time and they figured I might not notice. They managed to find one suite that was a handicap accessible unit and put me there when I insisted I should get what I booked and paid for. Never should a property put a guest who has not planned their stay properly before another who has booked ahead of time."

"We stayed one night and I wish we could have stayed for a week! Beautiful property. Amazing staff. Front desk was so kind and on point. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Room was huge and well laid out. LOVED the patio. View onto beautiful trees and trails. It was very quiet while we were there. I will absolutely be back."

"Fern River Resort was such a special getaway. We were surrounded by breathtaking redwood trees, a very clean river on the property and wonderful staff. Check in was a breeze and instructions were super clear on how to get to our cabin. Our cabin #2 was extremely clean and very cozy, the bedding was plush and pink! I loved that we had the option to cook there. At the property, Lisa was able to also accommodate an extension on our last day there thankfully because we weren't ready to leave yet, she was profesional and very kind. We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending this special place in the woods to friends and family."

"Cute, cute, cute! This wee cabin by the river is fully updated and decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen and baths have what you need. Sparking clean! Indoor and outdoor space is comfortable. Great communication, easy instructions. Easy parking. For us it was a convenient location to the wedding at the covered bridge."

"Everything was wonderful but we had 6:00 in the morning we had pipe noise in the walls that would not stop so we had to leave at 9:00 They did try to fix it but it was a ongoing annoyance"
