"The desk staff was extremely helpful (ie power converter, 2 extra pillows, dinner choices) breakfast included. One think to remember going to and from Zermatt- gas vehicles such as private coach can only reach to town south of Zermatt, Tasch. So when leaving you need to talk the train 1 stop to reach your connection. Hotel was great "

"Hotel Matthiol was our favorite stay in Switzerland! The hotel is tucked just outside the main part of Zermatt, which made it feel peaceful and private, but it was still an easy walk into town, and the complimentary shuttle was a nice bonus. We stayed in a spa room with a sauna, steam shower, and a big soaking tub right by the window overlooking the mountains. The self-guided spa was perfect for relaxing, and the massage we booked was absolutely worth it. On top of all that, the restaurant served some of the best food we had during our entire trip. We cannot wait to come back!"
