Absolutely loved staying here! It was so clean and the amenities were great, especially have access to their sister’s hotel spa! Breakfast was delicious and the staff who ran it were so friendly! Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Zermatt!

Excellent hotel, conveniently located near the bus station. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast was a delicious . I definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

We had a lovely corner room with a rounded row of windows and doors to open, and a view of the top of the Matterhorn! The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was refreshed every day. The front desk was extremely helpful to give us all the information we needed to explore the area. We were very appreciative of the very friendly staff in the breakfast area and the food was wonderful.

Absolutely wonderful stay - absolute gem of a find. Wonderful view of the Matterhorn from our room - which felt so luxurious with such lovely bedding and every amenity you need - so refreshing for a hotel to have a really decent hairdryer!! Breakfast was lovely every day - wonderful having warm fresh baked rolls! The use of the spa at the Alpen (5 mins max walk) was wonderful too. Was truly wonderful from the moment we arrived - all staff cannot do enough for you. Would definitely book again.

We had a beautiful room with two balconies, both with Matterhorn view! The room was clean, the bed linen was so nice to sleep in - AND there was a bathtub. The staff and the receptionist was very sweet and helpful with routes and so on! Furthermore, free spa at the nearby hotel with outdoor jacuzzi. Very nice breakfast.

朝早チェックアウトだったので朝食をtake away用に準備してもらいました。またお部屋にあったカラビナ付きのマグカップが可愛かったので、フロントで購入できて、とっても良い思い出になりました。 お部屋も綺麗でとても可愛く、スタッフの方もとってもフレンドリーで、日本語も通じました！ またツェルマットに行く時は利用したいホテルです。

Great place! Had a room upgrade even, and got a tub which was great to soak the sore muscles after a long day! Great balcony view directly of the Matterhorn!! Only downside to me, the toilet was very high lol! I have short legs😜Comfy bed and good breakfast

スタッフの方がおすすめのお店を教えてくれたり、気さくな方でした。なにより提携先のスパ、サウナ、温泉風を無料で利用できたのがよてもうれしく、ハイキングの疲れを癒すことができました。水着を持ってくことをおすすめします、私たちは現地で買ったのでとても高かったです。 夜間はスタッフ不在のためカードキーで入ることになりますが、設定がうまくできておらず入れませんでした。幸いスタッフがまだいたので対応してくれ、命からがらベッド確保できました。朝食も種類豊富でとても美味しかったです。マッターホルンも部屋のバルコニーからみることができ、素敵な滞在になりました。

많은 좋은 후기들을 보고 hotels.com을 통해 Hotel Phoenix를 예약했고, 선결제를 했다. 도시세 16프랑은 현장 결제했다. 객실은 훌륭했다. 시차 문제로 8시에 잠들었는데, 밤 10시 반에 한국의 신용카드 회사로부터 전화가 왔다. 신용 카드가 316프랑 부정사용되었을 것 같다는 것이었다. Alpen resort&spa에서 온라인 결제 되었다고 했다. 혼란스러웠다. 내 평생 단 한 번의 카드 사고가 떠오르면서 몹시 당황했다. 정확히 20년 전 2006년 6월 스위스 여행 때 스위스 국철 SBB와 북유럽을 기반으로 하는 유명 호텔 딱 2곳에서만 신용카드를 사용했는데, 그 직후 중동 지역에서 내 카드가 결제되었던 사고였다. ㅡ35년 간 신용 카드를 사용하면서 딱 2번의 카드 사고가 하필이면 두 번 다 스위스라니! ㅡ 정신을 가다듬고 휴대폰과 이메일 기록 등을 살펴보고 종합해봤다. 아마도 내가 이미 선결제한 Hotel Phoenix의 숙박비를 Alpen resort & spa라는 곳에서 이중 결제한 것으로 추정되었다. 호텔 프론트에 가서 얘기했더니, 그 직원도 의아해하며 체크해보겠다고 했다. 체크 후 그는 선결제되었던 숙박비가 방금 다시 결제된 것이 맞는다는 것이었다. Hotel Phoenix와 Alpen resort & spa 는 동일한 회사라고 했다. 그는 걱정하지 마라, 내일 이중 결제 건을 취소해준다고 했다. 늦은 시간이라 결제 취소가 안 된다고 했다. ㅡ늦은 시간에 결제는 되지만, 취소는 안 됨!!! :) ㅡ 나의 서툰 영어에 대해 그는 나름 노력하고 성의를 보였지만, 미안하다는 한마디는 없었다. 다음날 아침의 직원은 그 사실을 모르고 있었고, 내가 요청한 후, 그녀는 기록을 검토하고, 취소 절차를 밟았다. 내가 요청해서 취소 기록 증명을 받았다. 그녀도 미안하다는 간단한 한마디는 없었다. 아마도 그들의 태도로 보아 그건 자기가 한 일이 아니다는 뜻 같았다. 그러나 그 회사의 누군가가 한 일이 아닌가? 그 일이 있던 밤에 나는 자다 깨서 당황하고 그 일을 처리하느라 다시 잠들기 힘들었다. 편안한 숙박을 제공해야하는 호텔에서 일어난 일이다. 나중에 인터넷을 검색해보고 추정하건대, 그 호텔은 최근에 소유주가 바뀐 것 같았다. 그래서 이전의 후기들이 말했던 그런 분위기가 아니었던 것 같다. 두 가지 문제를 지적한다. 첫째, 이런 이중 결제가 일어나는 시스템을 고쳐야한다. 둘째, 직원들은 나름 업무를 보고는 있었지만 일반적인 호텔 직원들의 태도는 아닌 것 같다. 딱딱한 사무원들의 태도다. 그리고 왜 그 간단한 I am sorry 또는 We are sorry 한마디를 안 하는가? 이 문제들을 개선해서 훌륭한 호텔이 되기를 바란다.
