"Beautiful, spotlessly clean hotel in a unique location "

"We had great stay. From the minute we arrived…the desk staff were very welcoming and friendly…to the minute we left, where the desk staff ordered us a taxi. Our room was on the third floor and was one of the older style. Not a problem…bed make up service and bathroom clean everyday. Impressed by the speed of response to our broken toilet seat…informed in morning was fixed by the time we returned early afternoon. The bed itself was very comfortable but neither my husband or I liked the long shaped pillow. The pool area was lovely, never a problem getting a lounger. Breakfast was great, good and plentiful selection…excellent coffee (Lavazza). We really enjoyed the chilled vibe of the resort and loved the hotel. Thank you, we will definitely be back!"

"Check in was easy. But the Vibe here is strange. I was in a room where at least three staff members were sleeping. Inwas asked on the first day if I wanted to join a "special dinner" for €10 made by one of the workers. After seeing the kitchen I couldn't have brought myself to eat anything cooked in there. "

"The property has a curious pin entry system which means you can check yourself into your room out of hours. It also meant you could stay there six nights as we did, and never ever meet a member of staff, as we did! The apartments were beautiful and spacious with spectacular views of the cliffs and mountains. The town itself however is dull with very little to do unless you're into surfing. Maybe 2 bars and a handful of restaurants which all close early apart from one. It's also the windiest place on earth!"

"In January 2024 we had a lovely week at Jimmy and Cathy's apartment. They are great landlords who make a real effort to ensure people are enjoying their holiday. The garden with views across the valley and hills was a highlight of the holiday for us, especially when we were there to see the spectacular sunsets. The pool is also idyllic. We found the accommodation clean and having two bathrooms and two bedrooms for the price charged is very good value, let alone the amazing garden and pool. The kitchen isn't modern, but Cathy had clearly spent ages making sure all sorts of equipment and items were there for people e.g. for picnics as well as cooking. Jimmy and Cathy gave us a remote for their entrance gate so we could park our car on their private land right outside our apartment. Anyone staying in this apartment would need a car. We recommend avoiding Budget/Avis (offered by BA when you book a flight with them) because they are located a bus journey from the airport. There are plenty of car hire companies in the airport such as Autoreisen etc which is a lot more convient. Overall, we would highly recommend choosing Cathy and Jimmy's apartment for your stay on Tenerife."
