"We spent a week at Law Brook Farm Cottage and we had a lovely stay. The views across Yorkshire from the main window are amazing. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is great. As the weather was not kind to us, we benefited from the log burner in the evenings and so felt cosy and warm. "We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again"

"TOTS is a very comfortable house right in the centre of Tideswell on the main street. Quite small but with everything you might need and lots of helpful information and thoughtful touches such as a demisting mirror in the shower room and a well equipped shower room in the small courtyard to clean dogs before entering the house. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Tideswell, together with a co-op, butcher, baker and an excellent second hand bookstore in a church. We would certainly be...

"Lovely cosy cottage with a fantastic view. It was quite a walk to the nearest pub but very close to lovely walks for the dog. We were staying over Christmas so visiting family on most of the days but able to spend a couple of evenings in the cottage. Some lovely touches with the fairy lights and the procseco to celebrate the season. Would love to stay again in the summer and be able to sit out with a glass of wine and admire the view. "Lovely cottage. The wood burning stove was much appreciated by all including our black Labrador! The central heating was very efficient once we’d found the boiler controls (in one of the twin rooms) Host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed but wasn’t at all intrusive. Beds very comfortable ! Can recommend the Scotsman’s Pack inn who (with some advance notice) catered for 42 of us for the Birthday meal !"

"Very well equipped and tastefully decorated cottage with amazing views over the reservoir and Holme valley. Local walks and places to eat are convenient. Only one thing wasn’t quite perfect. The key safe is near the ground and hard to access for those of us who aren’t as mobile as we used to be. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay."
