"Holliday Inn Express Birmingham Excellent hotel and checked by a very nice polite lady at 13:40 The room was spotlessly clean and I was very impressed. TV was a 43 inch Samsung with an excellent quality picture. Didn’t have many channels. The WiFi worked well and was free. Next to the bed you have 2 USB and 2 electric 3 pin power sockets. There are also lots of other power sockets in the room. The bathroom like the bedroom was very clean, with good lighting. Shampoo is Dove brand. Only issue was the handle inside shower door was broken so it’s difficult to shut the shower door. Air conditioning was good but the coolest setting is 21c and I would have preferred it to go down to 18c but the room temperature was comfortable as the air conditioning is good and works well. All mobile phone networks work well in the hotel. The breakfast is ok but very basic and no fried eggs. The bed was very comfortable. The area is nice and safe and close to the shops. I also appreciated the late check out. I would highly recommend this hotel and its excellent value for money."

"Fantastic trip recently with a catchup with a groups of friends and family. We found the staff to be highly accommodating of such a large group and were child friendly. The waitress we had a tye time was also fantastic at our evening meal. We will definitely be returning for our annual catchups here!!!!"
