"We had a lovely stay, we were given a complimentary room upgrade from standard double to deluxe double for our anniversary. We were given a small cake and a small fruit basket as well. We also asked for an extension on our checkout by 1 hour which was given as complimentary. The staff are very helpful and the service was excellent. The hotel is in great condition and has a great bar and restaurant. The location is great too with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby"

"The rooms are very old. The headboard to my bed was off the wall as I walked into my room for the first time and needed to be fixed. In the meantime they let me change rooms. The 2nd room had a black hair on the pillow, an opened dessert wrapper behind the night stand and the fridge ice maker/freezer was inoperable due to it being frozen over. So I requested another room. My third room was a visible upgrade and was actually clean, who would’ve thought! The front desk was approachable about the issues but the manager and housekeeper were persistent on me not moving rooms and overall not pleasant to speak with about THEIR rooms that were not up to the minimum standard. The restaurants were sub par, very over priced and staff was fine. The overall establishment was decently clean and the rest of my stay went fine. "

"Nice little hotel in the middle of the upscale Knightsbridge area. Great location for window shopping and very close to transportation like buses and the tube. Literally across the street from a pub! Go in and say hello to Cristina or go to the hotel bar and say hello to Vincenzo. The room was nice and clean. However, we had a reservation for 3 and the room was only setup for 2. Didn’t find out until we took out the sofa bed and there were no sheets on the bed nor in the closet. The mattress had a large stain in it too. When I called downstairs they sent a guy who wanted to make the bed. Since my wife and daughter were already in PJs I took them and made it myself. There were also only two towels. The AC system was also deficient. We set it for cool and sweated all night. Could not get it to cool down. Amaxingly, there was no outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer. Not sure if that’s a safety thing in the UK. Finally, the electrical system was a cool retro push button system, but the bathroom switch would turn off fine, but when switching it on it would sometimes turn on right away, and sometimes it would take a minute or two. I’m one of those people who don’t like people in my room while I’m not there, so they’ll need to fix that stuff now that I’ve left. We lived almost everything and would stay here again but would address these items ahead of time. "
