"We enjoyed our stay at Sunny Villas, we were there for 2 nights. The room was a cave in the rocky wall, very authentic! Tthe staff was very helpful, especially Helena. She helped us with local recommendations and how to find transportation. Know that there are steep steps to get to the “apartment “, this is not your average hotel room. The views are amazing. The breakfast was great, you get to order certain things from a prearranged menu. The downfall is they only start at 8:30 and they deliver it to your room, if you plan to leave earlier it may not be available. The first day we waited about an hour but in the end it worked it out ok. The location is great, walking distance to Fira with beautiful caldera views, took us about 2.5 hours to hike to Oia. Not an easy hike, but definitely worth it. Thank you Sunny Villas for having us!"

"The location of this property can't be beat. We booked a room with a patio, and the view was absolutely breathtaking and we spent every possible minute out there that we could. The room itself was clean and well-maintained except for the toilet. The button on the toilet kept getting stuck and wouldn't flush, and we informed reception who said they would look into it. When we arrived, the second bed wasn't prepared so we had to ask for sheets as I was traveling with my mom. I booked a 2-bed room, so it was a bit annoying that I had to ask for all beds to have sheets. Breakfast is included, changes daily, and is served on a patio overlooking the caldera. It was a great way to start the day. Reception helped us rent a car for the day, which was great. Transfer to and from the port/airport which we scheduled through the hotel is actually performed by a third party called Golden Transfers. I would recommend finding your own transfer, honestly. We were honestly not at all impressed with their services and there are other options out there."
