"Staff were very pleasant and entrance and hallways were very clean. The beds were very comfortable and had a lovely sleep. A few downsides too mention are: I ordered room with city view only to recieve a room that was on the first floor and overlooked the tube train tracks coming from Kensington high street tube station. Floor was stained and doors unlocked to next room which felt unsafe. We complained at reception who resolved our issue and moved us to another room on the 8th floor and finally overlooked the city. Rooms currently are very tired and well used, but to behonest we did not spend alot of time in the hotel and explored London so not really bothered us. At the end of the day the bathroom and room were clean and looked after. I also believe they are refurbing the hotel rooms over time and I would stay again and the rooms were reasonably priced for the area and staff were super friendly."

"Great hotel and near to the tube station. Local restaurants nearby and walkable to museums and the Albert hall. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was good value with plenty of options. The Nespresso machine in the room wa a super bonus 👍😊"

"So, despite the terrible reviews on google maps (about the bed bugs and such) i found the bed and the bathroom to be pretty clean. They change your towels and sheets daily, and the bed was ok to sleep on. The elevator is small, but i am not large myself and I’d rather have a small elevator to take my bag up than none at all. The staff is friendly and they did address the problems I had in the room upon my request. Overall my stay was fine. Now for the downsides. The room in general is not super clean, they don’t seem to care much about the corners and crevices. The shower is a different story, there was hardly any pressure and it was pretty much boiling hot water (rotating the thermostat had zero effect). I told the reception and they did something about it, so the water got “bearable”, still pretty hot and very low pressure. Almost impossible to wash the hair but I managed. I stayed in room 52. If i was to get the same room I guess i would stay here again, but overall I wouldn’t risk it. The price was pretty low, so this is something one can expect for the price"
