"Honestly the room and the everyone there were so friendly. Also so apologetic when one of the rooms was not ready for a while. There was a little incident with a man slumped at the lift area but apart from that it was a wonderful hotel. Would stay again "

"The President Hotel was excellent, great location, very close to Russell Square underground station. Breakfast was very good, many choices. The only downside was the safe was on the top shelf of the wardrobe, my friend and I only 5 feet tall and couldn’t see inside without standing on a chair. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will return in the future."

Great hotel, fabulous staff

"All the staff are amazing. They make you feel very welcome, are all so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I really can't praise them enough! The room was small but very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for a great stay. The air con was a massive bonus as it was very hot during our stay, but our room was lovely and cool so we got a great nights sleep each night. The only thing that I would say is to check which rooms have a better shower if you have mobility issues or if you are tall, as our shower had a big step in (it was 12 inches off the floor) which left very little room between the shower floor and the low ceiling. Im 5ft 8in and I struggled to wash my hair without banging my elbows on the ceiling! It was my daughters birthday while we were there and there was a card, balloon and chocolates in the room when we arrived, which was a lovely touch and really appreciated. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but we did eat in the restaurant in the evening. The food is delicious, the staff are lovely and we were impressed how reasonably priced it was. They are very knowledgeable about allergies and have some great options if you do have a food allergy. It is an ideal location, easy to walk to a lot of attractions, perfect for theatre visits. Lots of shops and dining options nearby too. We will definitely be back and I doubt we would stay anywhere else in London now. The hotel is great, but it's the staff that absolutely make this hotel perfect."

"Fab hotel in eats walking distance from Kings Cross station and the fabulous shopping and eating at Coal Drops Yard. All staff were friendly, room was great with an enormous bed. We were missing a towel and this was quickly brought up to us. We appreciated the water in the room. "
