I was very disappointed that the room allocated with windowless and there was a shower in the middle of the room with blinds that were not blackout and your couldn't turn off the light in the show so I did not sleep well at all,

The rooms were very small but well designed so it didn’t feel small. Also the placement of light switches and having reading lights on the headboard were lovely touches. Would have preferred to have a shower curtain or door in between sink area and shower as I was traveling with a friend and not romantic partner but that wasn’t too bad. Love that the toilet is secluded in its own room.

I liked the hotel, but I found the furnishings to be quite worn out. For the price that they are charging, I expect that they would maintain their furnishings in better condition. I did like all the little extras that they managed to put into such a small space. They were very good with making a small room so functional.

Do not stay here at the Standard and delete your Expedia app immediately. I accidentally booked this hotel thru Expedia and then cancelled it 30 minutes later over the phone with Expedia customer service, per their published policy of cancellation within 24 hours. However months later I received a notice from The Standard that they had refused the cancellation, and neither Expedia or The Standard were willing to honor the cancellation they had confirmed months earlier. I was robbed of $2200. Screw them both. I travel a ton and never ever again with either. Claudinecheever@gmail.com

The staff are wonderful, friendly and always helpful - from front desk to concierge and bell team, housekeeping and room service. The restaurants are great and the view from the rooftop superb.

Great mod property , right in center of London with perfect access to railway and metro station. This is a mid century jewel that perfectly combines mod with today’s amenities. Both times I stayed in this property I received an upgrade that allowed for great views. The rooftop and decimo bar and restaurants are great too. Will stay again.
