Intimate space for a couple to spend a few nights in the tropics, close enough to Duval and Whitehead that you don’t have to drive to bars or restaurants but also far enough away to stay out of the more crowded areas. Room was very clean upon arrival and amenities of property were nice as well

Great use of every square inch of this guest house and a good place to crash for a couple of nights. Nice little pool. Definitely needs a better AC unit that doesn't make so much noise, though. That was the biggest drawback and why I would not recommend room 4.

Really nice place and location

It's small -- made very clear in the listing. But it was clean, comfortable and very convenient to Duval.The backyard pool and courtyard are quite nice as well. Would stay again for sure (with one), and probably with two.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean,good location, good value. The only complaints were there was no storage in the room at all (no dresser, closet, or bathroom sink) so it made getting ready a bit difficult and while they gave us a code to our room, we did not get a code to the hallway but luckily a neighbor came by to let us in. It was in a walkable location to all the places we wanted to go so it was convenient not having to move the car and the bed was comfy.

Great place but….

I love the location, pool and bed!!! The only complaint I have is the bathroom. I can handle small but this was not well designed. Bathroom sink was so small when I brushed my teeth I water dripped on the floor. The shower is open concept but all the water flooded the sink area instead of draining into the drain. I would stay again but I might try another room.

Once we arrived, we found the unit to be as described small, clean, and comfortable. When we were at the unit, we enjoyed the pool. We decided not to rent a car and didn’t regret it. We walked to Duval and enjoyed the backstreets too. Ubers were plentiful for the nights we wanted to venture a little further. If you’re looking to explore Key West and just need a place to shower and sleep, this unit offers an excellent stay!

The property was in a convenient location for walking and a good price and clean. However, there is no storage space (no dresser, no closet, no bathroom sink) so it made unpacking or getting ready in the morning very inconvenient. The shower is also very cramped. They were good about giving us the door code to the room, however we did not get the door code to the hallway and had to rely on a neighbor helping us get in and telling us the code the 1st night. We never found the pool. The room has good A/C but the hallway was not air conditioned.Overall, it was a good place to crash, but would probably stay elsewhere in the future.

The Place was just as advertised. It's a nice, little, cozy room that has all that you will need. My place has a mini fridge and stove with dishes and glasses. Though, they could have given a set amount of each. We had 3 plates, 1 mug, a variety of different amounts of cups and glasses. the place was in walking distance to Duval and the beach so we didn't really have to drive. the place was quiet and very clean. The price was very good compared to others in the area and worth it. I would rate the place a 5 star if it was not for the check-in process I had.I traveled some distance to get to my place, and I was told that they had early check-in. After calling, I was assured that the unit was available, but they needed to have housekeeping check to be sure it was clean. After receiving my confirmation and room code that day, the next day I had issues getting ANY type of early check-in and had to cancel my reservations for events that day. My room was not available until after 3 p.m.

Salvador's Seclusion - Key West

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place has a great location, on a quiet street, just a few blocks from Dumval St. and the Hemingway House. The pool in the back was nice (never crowded), and the people we ran into were exceptionally friendly! There are washers and dryers to use, but we never used them. The room was clean, but very small. It appeared much bigger in the photos, but it was about 100 ft2. I'm not saying this to complain, but we were two thin people who had a hard time not bumping into each other when dressing. Larger people might have an uncomfortable time there, especially in the very narrow shower. There was a hotplate that took a long time to heat water and a sink and coffee machine. The bathroom was nice, but the water didn't drain in the shower very well, so whenever we got back to the room, it was very humid. The AC worked great and helped with the humidity.The free airport shuttle was a nice plus and the management was friendly and accommodating.

Convenient location, frustrating room...

First the good things: walking distance to the heart of Key West waterfront, small pool with privacy, free washer and dryer, competitive price for the location. On the down side, parking is tight (fewer spaces out front than number of units at the location); the approach walk to the hall where our place was required (with bags) going up a few stairs, pause to open a gate, step up, then another odd step up less than four feet later, and then the expected floor at the same level as the room. The 'apartment' itself is small in ways that it seems like could have been avoided and impacted how we lived in the space. The total dimensions of the entire place couldn't have been bigger than 10 feet by 12 feet, including the bathroom as a separate room. While the intent of the layout suggests they wanted to be able to claim it could be used as a fully functional apartment, with a 'kitchen' and 'table and chairs', it comes at the cost of having literally nowhere to put your clothes- no dressers, closet, etc. The kitchen and table setups are so tight, combined with head half of the full bed being wedged between two walls such that one of us banged their elbow on the window trim repeatedly in his sleep, that it affected our enjoyable use of the space. Jamming so much into such a small space made it difficult to do the one thing at a minimum one wants- to get a decent night's sleep. Also, the bathroom was both tight and drained oddly- taking a shower flooded the entire bathroom floor.

The room was perfect for what I needed. I was by myself so there was enough space. The pool was lively and I was able to walk everywhere. My only issue was the rooster that woke me up every morning around 4:00am. Not the problem of the place I stayed but it was annoying. Also, the room was a nice cool temperature every time I walked in which was nice after walking around in the heat.
