"I recently stayed at the Hilton New York Downtown and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. One of the most concerning issues during our stay was the lack of hot water. After a long day in cold New York weather, my elderly parents and I returned to our room expecting basic comfort, only to find that there was no hot water available. This forced us to shower in cold water, which was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable—especially given that my mother has asthma. Situations like this can directly impact health and well-being, and I was quite dissatisfied that such a fundamental amenity was not available when needed. Additionally, we experienced a very alarming and frightening situation late at night. Around 2:00 AM, a group of 4–5 intoxicated men came to our door and attempted to open it. They remained outside our room for approximately 30–40 minutes, creating a highly distressing and unsafe environment for us. As guests, we expect a basic level of security and peace of mind, but this incident made us feel vulnerable and deeply unsettled. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations in terms of both comfort and safety. I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and improves their service and security measures to ensure that future guests do not have to go through a similar experience."

"Clean room but Ash burned through sheets , smelled like cigarettes… the shower head broke off and the repair Guy told me he was off shift so he doesn’t know what to tell us, came upstairs and attempted to fix jt but then told us he couldn’t and ran out of our room. I also booked for a coty view room , which means not on the 1st floor. Besides that nice stay … will be attempting to stay COMFORTABLY again. "
