"2nd time within 6 months, once again, fabulous. Complete privacy and very relaxing. Extremely well equipped villa. Supermarket 5 min walk, car recommended but not a necessity. Just be aware, there are water problems in the area and we were quite often left without any so make sure you have a lot of bottled water."

The host lives next door and was welcoming and accommodating, providing toys for our children to play with and extra tools for the barbecue when we enquired. "I had never been to Fuerteventura and came across Don's villa via Vrbo-was attracted to it from the photos description, plenty of good reviews, option to use communal pool (inc a toddler pool) and very good value for money. "What a wonderful place to get away from it all. The villa is such a clever design set in an extensive gated plot with generous space for parking. Going through the door we were delighted to find a walled courtyard with an outdoor dining set and cushioned bench in the sheltered space around a beautiful cactus garden. 3 doors lead away from the courtyard: one to the living space, 1 to a double bedroom & bathroom and 1 to a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom. "This was a holiday where we were using the villa as a base to visit all the tourist attractions that we could in a 2 week period. The Villa was clean and tidy and very easy to find and very well equipped. We didn't use the pool much as the wind was quite cold at the end of Feb. But when we did the water was warm and welcoming. The kitchen had all that we needed and there is loads of space around the villa to relax after a hard day having fun."

"This villa is exactly as presented on the website which we used to book it. The rooms are spacious, well furnished with tasteful decoration. The pool is a good size - I'd say around 8x4M, and is not too deep so our young teenagers could swim in confidence. The steps into the pool do take up some space, but make it easy to get in and out. We stayed in April and the pool was heated to 28C which was perfect. The uncommon addition was a hot tub, heated to 38C, which was a great way of warming up...
