"We weren’t expecting much from this as a one night cheap stay but the hotel was fantastic - kind and helpful staff, clean and spacious room, great breakfast. The little things impressed us a lot - like a case weighing scale in reception to save faffing at the airport, and screens at reception with flight times. Just nice thoughtful things that would be good to have in other places!"

"Staff was great and friendly, dealt with issues promptly (leaky shower), blessedly spoke English, we never felt unsafe in the neighborhood, plenty of nearby dining options for every palate, very walkable and close to the Metro Marques de Pombal stop, plenty of hot water. The room might be considered small by US standards but we didn't spend time in the room anyway. Would definitely recommend. We were able to crack the window to air out the room when the weather was nice. It can be kind of noisy outside late at night but we just shut the window if needed, that's not the hotel's fault :) "
