"We liked it a lot and would stay again. The room was fine although a bit dated but the facilities, breakfast, location and price more than made up for that. The staff were helpful and attentive."

"We always stay in this hotel because the location is right in the middle of Chester, the rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. Lovely fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Our room had air conditioning though not available in all rooms I think, much needed for our stay in the extreme hot weather. Reception was very pleasant and welcoming and helpful. Great hotel to stay for a few days visit to Chester. we always stay at the back of the hotel as it is quieter."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Chester. Bedroom was beautifully decorated. Bed very comfortable. Hospitality tray. Good choice at breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel will be closing at the end of next month for refurbishment. Hopefully it will return as good as it is."

"While we had one quick overnight on our trip between London and Glasgow, we wished we had more time at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa! We had a huge, well-appointed, spacious room with three beds, vaulted windows overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens and delicious amenities! We enjoyed breakfast in the Palm Court restaurant, swam (during kids' hours) and walked the gardens. Again, we wish we had time to enjoy the other restaurant and spa!"

"Beautiful location and the most amazing country inn. With gorgeous rooms, super staff and the food was simply fabulous - the Sunday roast was the best I have ever had. I will definitely return to this little gem."
