"Lovely place to stay Basic student accommodation but perfect for a stay at good value"

"Clean rooms great staff. The only downside was there was no lifts or elevators so it was a maze to get up to the upstairs room especially if you have luggage is so something to note. The noise is quite significant at night time because it is right across the pub but they do offer earplugs if needed"

However the room was a bit small - there was no space for a nightstand - and lacked some typical conveniences such as cups and/or tissues and/or coffee maker and/or an iron etc. And I’m wondering who thought it was a good idea to put self closing hinges on the room’s bathroom door"

"Fabulous experience on a very busy day and night for the hotel. Quick check-in, super large room with comfortable bed and pillows, abundant towels and supplies for tea and coffee making. Dinner in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced Check-out easy and quick A special thanks to the drivers of the shuttle buses to the races, they were friendly and very very kind people. Well done the Clayton Hotel!!!"

"This was such a cool hotel! I would describe the style like a futuristic 50s vibe. Multiple bars, a beautiful rooftop restaurant, friendly and professional staff, great gym, I mean, we just wanted to hang out at the hotel. The room was perfectly sized, there was a minibar, the bed was so comfy. Location was great also, not center center, but like 5 minutes away walking. The bus and train stations are super close also. Loved it!"
