Great choice
Very comfortable family room. We needed to stay for the night prior to our flight home. Very close/convenient to Dublin Airport. Had a delicious dinner in the restaurant as well.

Ceiling of room leaking with water from someone showering in room above. Shower temperature couldn’t be adjusted and was stuck on boiling hot.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us the night before leaving Dublin - and coming from the north of Ireland. The dining room was excellent and the room was large. The walls were rather thin and we could hear our neighbours clearly in adjoining room and it’s in quite an industrial area. So it was fine, just not excellent.

It was a complete surprise when we arrived here, from the name I was expecting a high rise block overlooking an airport runway. Instead I found a beautiful hotel and spa that I can’t wait to return too. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was amazing, I was so upset we had an early strart and couldn’t enjoy their breakfast too! Next time I definitely will. Highly recommended , cannot wait to return and use spa facilities too

The unique selling point of this hotel is undoubtedly the landlord. A unique, charming and helpful man. The hotel facilities are good and spa excellent. There is a great ambience throughout the property. Catering and bar selection second to none and the Whiskey and Gin rooms are an education. I would certainly recommend the Airport View Hotel and I really hope to return.

A hidden gem!
Amazing place. Friendly staff. Could book the dpa for a private session and this was included in your stay. Really lovely place and ideally located for Tatyo Park. Will go back.

This was a great place to rest on our last day on our self-driven tour. It would also be a great place to take a few days to indulge in the spa, based on what I observed. The interior was charming and comfortable, the staff were the sweetest, the room cozy and clean. The restaurant was casually elegant, with delicious meals, good wine and great coffee. My only complaint is that there was an oil diffuser in the room, filled with a rose oil that I found overwhelming. Once I figured out where the scent was coming from, though, I moved it to the hall and all was good. We did have a really difficult time locating the hotel, as the GPS took us to a location that was slightly off, and there were no signs pointing us in the right direction. Make sure you have the actual GPS coordinates to help you out. (53.50376E, 6.19728N).

Hotel property was clean, but the rooms need an upgrade. Was informed we could get breakfast from 6am as we had an early flight, unfortunately the dining area was still locked up at 6:30 when we left for the airport.

Booked the room as a last night before flying out of the country. Road construction made getting to it a bit of a challenge but the hotel was very nice and the room was perfect. Bar/dining room was beautiful and clean. Had a very nice selection of beverages in the "Whiskey Room". Staff were super nice and accommodating. Plus, short drive to the Dublin airport.

Don’t let the name fool, this place is a winner!
I needed a last minute place and was not trying to be picky. The Airport View and Secret Spa was available and I was too delighted just to have a bed. I was even MORE delighted when I arrived and saw the converted home and warm esthetic. I was MOST delighted when I was able to select a nightcap from 300+ whiskeys and the well appointed whiskey room. The owner and staff were all kind and helpful. The continental brekkie was fine (included) and the hot brekkie (separate) was excellent.

To put it simply. Great people, great food, and an AMAZING whisky room! Beds are comfortable, shower has good pressure. A wonderful spa. This is a warm, friendly place to wind down before a long flight.

Perfect location .
The outside does not have a great curb appeal - but inside was beautiful. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Made my daughter an omelette at 6:30 pm bc she is gluten free and couldn’t eat anything on the dinner menu. Just 12 minutes to the Dublin airport at rush hour. Perfect for a quick overnight coming or going from the airport. Also $150 less than the hotels at the airport.

Disappointing Last Night in Ireland
The location to the airport is good, atmosphere was generally pleasant, and the complex clean, but that's about it. We were told on arrival that since our reservation was made through Expedia/Hotels.com, the breakfast wasn't included despite it specifically having been a reason we booked this hotel (like our booking was second rate for being thru a 3rd party platform?). Our room was nice enough, but the the shower was poorly designed and water ended up pooling outside it on the floor soaking everything and making it smell musty. Our neighbors were yelling at 1AM until WE asked them to quiet down. I can't speak to the spa services as we were also told that they were completely booked out before our flight. Overall, rather disappointing for us when we booked the place for the breakfast and the spa on our last night in Ireland :(

Thank you for your review but when you book a hotel you should read the small print regarding breakfast ,also our spa is a very busy spa and you would have to have booked 3 to 4 weeks in advance ,our showers are wet rooms so the water goes over the floor ..and do you what ,you are just picking on any little thing you can find because you had to pay for breakfast , and thats how it works here when you book on booking sites .Have a nice life and learn how to chill ..

Unfortunately we only had one night to stay at this wonderful secret location. Had we known before hand about how much we would have enjoyed pampering ourselves in the SPA before leaving for home we would have booked an additional night. Our room was spacious, beds very comfortable and dining room had delicious food. Can't beat the location - took less than ten minutes to drive to the airport.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and relaxed. We stayed her on the last night of our vacation and it was amazing. The owner greeted us and had a staff member show us around. We were able to enjoy their wonderful spa swimming pool before enjoying a delicious gourmet dinner! Five stars!

Heating is very old system and there were no instructions. Door handle was falling off. Included breakfast is bad, coffee is cold and there's nothing hot included. Name is deceiving as it is not very close to the airport. You'll wet the floor of you're not careful with the sink faucet Unless you open it very very slowly you'll wet the floor and your belly. Restaurant dinner was good and the service was excellent. This is a place to crash one night if you don't find any other place to go. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Place need a little more attention. I expect more from places I pay $180 per night.
