Nice hotel at a nice price. Outdoor pool & Jacuzzi. Room is simple, but comfortable. Bath tub and powerful shower head. Perfect location for me. 8 euro cab tide or bus to Palma Historic area. Beaches, car & scooter rentals 2 minute walk. Restaurants and bars 2 minute walk. There are 2 massage spas, 1 barber & 1 hair salon. Everything one needs is a 2 minute walk.

Real Hidden Gem in Palma
I booked a one night stay as I had decided to stay in Palma one more night with friends and needed somewhere to stay. I found this place and it was a real hidden gem. The location is central to a main strip of bars and restaurants and along a town which had plenty open even now. The hotel is up a small hill which is handy as you dont hear any of the noise from the street. The hotel has a lovely white Spanish summber vibe to it and I really liked it. There is a lovely pool, Loungers and a Jacuzzi on the roof which were all a bonus as I never knew they were there till I checked in. The room was nice large double bed everything clean, My only complaint was the room had no aircon, Now to be fair there may be other rooms with AC as an extra but it wasnt a huge issue as the room was well ventilated. Bar was fairly priced too. The only other point to note is that due to Covid the front doors have to be closed so it does look shut when you arrived which did give me a 2 minute minor panic haha. It is very close to the airport and after checkout you can just lounge by the pool all afternoon which is ideal Would 100% stay again. Value for money, Great area and great for a weekend stay. Just book it.

Kind staff and manager. cold bedroom until we got a good heater. small bed and only old blankets. good wifi. basic room and lights off in passageways. landings economy electric. not enough electric sockets. bring leads. no parking only on streets nearby. shops and pharmacy and restaurants nearby good. continental breakfast provided only . we did not have this. nice downstairs lounge area. some rooms have balconies. ours did not. but we could have moved to a room with a balcony after our first night. no aircon it seems in summer but we went in winter. There may be a problem parking in season. Best thing was kind receptionists who were very helpful.

The hotel has a unique boutique feel there is a nice pool area and a nice rooftop relaxation area with a hot tub. This was a lovely area to sit however the hot tub was never hot. The rooms themselves are enormous my room had two balconies one from the bedroom and one from the sitting room. The view from the front balcony was of a derelict building, the view from the back or bedroom balcony was the only marginally better. The bathroom was clean but the decor was rather tired with peeling silicon around the bath. The room had a small kitchen which was very useful and perfectly clean. Overall the rooms just need decorating as it has a slightly tired feel about it. The general feel of the hotel is very nice and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly I would stay in this hotel again but feel that it could be improved.

Hotel staff is really friendly and helpful, hotel situated on a beautiful quiet street. The room was clean. The only drawback was that sometimes there was unpleasant smell coming out of as I'm guessing from the water pipes in the kitchen and bathroom.

Highly recommended
Room was perfect. Area is little bit far from center city but beautiful beach was in 10 min walk. Nice view from balcony. Swimming pool was some extra feature. Big room with kitchen. I really enjoyed this place. Hotel staff was so much cooperative and friendly.

Dear Prayash, thank you very much for your positiv feedback. I hope that reception did informe you that there is a public bus every 8 minutes to the center and by car the centre can be reached in 5 to 8 minutes. Also the main Cala Major Beach is only 150 meters away from us and should not take more than 2 or 3 minutes to walk. The 10 minutes walk is already to the famous Illetas Beach. It would be a pleasure to welcoming you back to The LIS again on your next visit to Palma de Mallorca. Thank you !!!

The Hotel Lis was quiet and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was excellent value for money and we would stay here again.

Pros: staff are wonderful. Reception, pool and Rooftop were all reasonable. Cons: the room we were in was badly designed for sharing - bathroom off master bedroom so anyone wanting toilet in the night had to walk through. Generally tired - the size was fine but everything was starting to fall apart - shower bracket came off wall, toilet wasn’t secured properly, nor was bidet or basin on second room. Tired decor, just needs a massive update to tidy it up. Also, incredibly noisy - 2 mornings we were woken at 0530 by very loud street noise and then people returning to the hotel.

Good spacious hotel.
Very good customer service and good facilities. Unfortunately this hotel is a good 25 mins bus ride to Palma and has no air conditioning in the rooms despite the heat, only fans! Also our TV set didn't have a remote and hotel staff couldn't find one.

Basic, fits adequate needs
Myself and four friends stayed in an apartment (room only) at Hotel Lis for 4 nights. The rooms were clean and basic, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and it had a good shower. The kitchen was small but adequate, equipped with a decent sized fridge, cups, plates and utensils. The only minor problems we had during our stay were the ants in our bathroom and finding two considerably large cockroaches in the apartment. Even though it wasn’t an issue getting rid of them for us, it wasn’t pleasant. The roof terrace was lovely and the outdoor areas were nice, although hot tub seemed too dirty to use. We didn’t get to use the pool either as unfortunately the weather wasn’t great (perhaps these facilities are much better during summer months). The hotel is situated 5 minutes or so from the beach, and walking distance from restaurants and bars. For a cheap and basic stay somewhere with good bus connections to Palma and close to a beach, it’s adequate.

The hotel is no frills. As a result, the price is low. There are 2 small thin towels in the bathroom. No soap. Each bed has 1 thin pillow & sheet. No blanket. The price is right. If you need fluffy towels, abundant pillows, housekeeping, etc., then I reccommend paying more money or a different hotel.

There were two buildings to the hotel complex. We were put in the second building, given a key and there was the current guest still occupying it. We were given another room later that was very small old and dirty. There was no airconditioner as advertised nor a fan.

Disappintment: 2 days lost thanks to them!
I made reservations for 4 nights n march. I showed up in July 24 at 12:30 pm to find that they had overbooked and I had no room. They said t was a computer error. First they tried to give me a bunker bedroom. They made me wait. I declined the rroom offer. They sent me dwntown. My first day was lost. Next day I had to return, but it was 5 pm before they gave me a nice efficiency appartment, but now, my second day was lost- So, they ruined half of my vacation- No matter how polite they were, their word means nothing- I never occupied the rrom for which I paid. There is nobody to talk to. Jus a telephone number, it seems it was the owner`s who was in Tenerife- The employees are nice but do not know anything but apologize with a smile, but time went by and 50% of my vacation was ruined because I still believe they take all reservations and give the rooms to those who will stay longer than 5 nights- That is their priority- If you go for less than 2 weeks, this hotel is not for you. You will spend half of your vacation traveling to whatever room they sent you and waiting for your room to be ready for you. SCREW THEM before they SCREW your vacation- All you will get is a BS excuse with a smile, but yur plans wil be ruined- This hotel deserves to be dumped from the option list! Sometimes, nice is just not good enough when your vacation plan has been messed up by those ''nice'' people.

LIS Hotel - Do not stay here
The property's condition and amenities were materially misrepresented. The bin in the room was not emptied, you have to pay air condition, main entrance under construction, fan do not have cover - safety hazard for the kids. Overall this is not a safe and clean place to stay. The manager is not very helpful to resolve any issues.

The staff less hotel......
- the staffless hotel - nobody there on arrival or departure - like a ghost hotel - we arrived after midnight with doors locked & no night porter - had to ring contact number several times before somebody answered - rooms were cold & not enough bedding provided - had one sheet & one blanket on the bed - nothing else in the room - had to put our coats over us in the middle of the night to keep ourselves warm!!! - otherwise it served a purpose for the few hours we were there but was bizarre staying somewhere with no staff or human interaction in any shape or form - they must be very trusting of their visitors / guests!

Thank your for your constructive feedback. It is correct that we do not have our reception staffed 24 hrs. For that reason we ask all our guest who arrive very late in the night to advise us so that we can provide them with a security code for the entrance door. During the hours between midnight and 8 am we do provide a Free-Phone at reception to be able to call for assistance or informations at any time. Please note also that even during the night hours we have normally always a management person staying in the hotel who would be able to assist at any time when needed. With regards to the heating, please note that we are one of the view hotels in Palma with central heating system what comes on and off automatically depending on the exterior temperature. Additional blankets and heating can be requested at any time and will be provided free of charge. We hope to be able to welcome you back to The LIS in the near future.

fantastic service and great staff
the staff were very friendly. rooms were spacious but needed to ask for things as rooms were not cleaned on a weekly basis but positive if you asked you would get. would defo stay again. great location. hotel under improvement and sure will make a great hotel

Very freindly
This Hotel is very friendly and relaxed, the rooms are very spacious and have a basic kitchen and fridge with utensils. The Manager of the hotel is very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble excellent customer service. We loved the pool at the hotel and it felt like our own private pool some days. The only faults we could find are that you can hear everything that your neighbours are doing and this can make it hard to sleep if you want an early night but i did mention this to Martin the manager and he was willing to visit any disturbances anytime of the night and gave me his number. We will visit again and hope they get some comfy mattresses for next time we visit.

Very attentive and friendly staff, great location with all a family needs: pool quietness, nice people and short walk from all (beach, restaurants, car-rental, grocery store etc.). The hotel is at its beginnings. I hope they keep going and continue updating furniture etc for more comfort. All-in-all: go there. You will enjoy your time there.

Supernice staff! Nice common room when you enter the hotel. The hotel is old and it shows, but the atmosphere is lovely. I enjoyed my stay very much, nice cycling holiday. My bike was safely stored at night.

El personal muy simpático. Me pidieron q no hiciera ruido después de las 23, algo entendible, pero me puse a duchar y me lllamaron pa decir q el agua molestaba a los del dormitorio de al lado. Entonces pensé: es un hotel o un geriátrico donde se ducha sin agua? Se escuchaba todo de la habitación de al lado, y el colchón era muy malo. Por lo demás bien, personal muy simpático.

Es un sitio muy tranquilo, la ubicación es muy buena al centro de palma, amabilidad y una biena atención, la limpieza la mantienen y mas por esta temporada de virus. Cumplen con kas normas establecidas por el gobierno. Me gusto, las instalaciones estan bien comodas.
